James Gandolfini, a.k.a Tony Soprano, dead at 51

James Gandolfini, the New Jersey-bred actor who delighted audiences as mob boss Tony Soprano in “The Sopranos” has died following a massive heart attack in Italy.

Gandolfini was in Italy to attend the 59th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily -- and he was scheduled to participate in a festival event this weekend with Italian director Gabriele Muccino. 

He was recently seen in "Killing Them Softly," sharing the screen with Brad Pitt.
