We have the new 'Anchorman 2' poster!

With its December 20th release, one of the more anticipated comedies of this year is Anchorman 2. Paramount just sent out the brand new poster with a picture of Will Ferrell's character, Ron Burgundy, showcasing his moustache in a massive close up of it. It's really from the nose to the bottom of his collar.

I think the joke is his porn-stache and how ladies love it. It represents the macho man attitude of the 70's and the lifestyle of sex, masculinity, booz and power. I might be getting too deep with the symbolism of the stache, but hey, it's funny to look at.

Official synopsis: With the 70's behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues."  Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) - All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York's first 24-hour news channel by storm.
