'Blood Ties': Zoe Saldana's first official teaser trailer!

Latin Hollywood actress Zoe Saldana is following up her latest #1 movie, Star Trek Into Darkness, co-starring in a gritty crime thriller called Blood Ties with an all-star cast which includes Clive Owen, Mila Kunis, Marion Cotillard and more. The trailer has shades of Francis Ford Coppola's The French Connection, but too early to tell. Have a look and judge for yourself. No set release date as of yet.

Mexican director Guillermo del Toro released the new official trailer of Pacific Rim coming out July 12th. There is new footage and a much more cohesive explanation to the story. But who cares who's starring in this movie? It's all about the robots tearing themselves a new ass! This is just the must-see movie of the summer! Sorry, Man of Steel.

What is in my opinion the best movie trailer of 2013 (well, maybe MAN OF STEEL is up there too) Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón's GRAVITY has up the ante for movie trailers moving forward. The drama, emotional weight and visual grandeur is breathtaking. Watching for yourself now and... breathe... breathe. GRAVITY stars George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. It will release October 4, 2013.

It is so cool to see Latino filmmakers crossing over into Hollywood. I think it's just healthy for the movie business to be infused with different ideas. Check out the new movie by Chilean Nicolas López called AFTERSHOCK, a comedy horror movie which will be released May 10th in the US with Eli Roth and cameos by Selena Gomez.

We discussed how they met, a wrestling movie featuring The Rock, a match between Mark Walhberg vs The Rock, and a possible reprisal of The Other Guys characters Highsmith and Danson with Samuel L. Jackson and produced by Wahlberg.

After what I thought to be a disaster of a sequel, Bradley Cooper and the boys are getting back together for The Hangover 3! This time, there's no wedding. No bachelor party. So what could go possibly go wrong, right? I barely laughed at the trailer. Hope the film is funnier. Check out the new trailer! The Hangover Part 3 hits theaters on Friday May 24, 2013.

Ryan Gosling, Hollywood's new A-list star, sat down with bilingual film critic Jack Rico to discuss his new film The Place Beyond the Pines (2013's first Oscar contender!). Amongst many things, I asked him about this particular Spanish tune he sang in the movie, which also stars Eva Mendes and Olga Merediz. He actually sang an excerpt of the tune to me and gave me the backstory of the Spanish lullaby. The Place Beyond the Pines will be released March 29th in limited release.
